Don't Know What You've Got Till It's Gone

Last week at Peter's doctor appointment we found out he has acid reflux. On top of that they found blood in his stool, meaning something I am eating is bugging his little digestive system. So, since Friday, I have been on a no dairy, low sugar diet. I have always loved milk and almost all milk products, but never realized how much I use it in my regular eating routines. I have been living off PBJ's and pasta ever since. I really need to branch out and have a more rounded diet, but it seems like everything I think of has some sort of dairy product (or soy, can't have soy either) in it. So, I am turning to you for help. What things do you eat that are dairy free??
And of course, a little Peter and Lyza, cause I just can't post without pics of them, now can I?

oh, man. i feel for you. wish i could help, but i am certainly not the one to give diet advice. especially non-dairy. practically everything i consume has dairy or sugar and usually both.

i hope it doesn't last long, good luck!

oh Megan! So sorry. That is rough. All the things we have to sacrifice for our little ones. I am horrible with finding foods w/out dairy, but I'll have to ask a few friends who have kids with dairy allergies what they eat. The kids sure look cute and happy!

Not doin' too much cookin' myself these days. But maybe lots of fresh fruits and veges would be good? Hang in there, little mommy!
