Mi Hermanos

My brother's came to visit on Monday on their way from Florida to Oregon. We hadn't seen Chris in almost two years and we got to meet his step-daughter Ari who is super sweet. It was fun to have them here, especially as this was their first time meeting Peter.


Ari is seven, but the girls still had a lot of fun playing together.


Lyza was so excited for Uncle Tyler to come. He is super fun with her, playing hide and go seek and making forts, and she always asks for him when he's gone.


How cute is she? Mom just got her this super cute jacket which we can actually use now in the chilly mornings! Lyza goes to preschool twice a week and loves it. I teach it with a friend and we have had a lot of fun so far. She has just started sounding out words phonetically and amazes me with how much she can read now! She starts ballet tomorrow and is becoming a more aggressive player in soccer as she gains more confidence in her abilities. It is so fun to watch her grow and learn and try new things, but the thing I love most is her ever growing vocabulary. The other day she told me I needed to stop being so dramatic and yesterday she told me I couldn't disprove what she was saying. HAHAHAH!


Peter is officially crawling. He is super fast. I will post a video next time. The most fun thing is when I put him on the changing table, take off his diaper and before I can get the new one on he has flipped over and gotten himself up into a sitting position. He cracks me up. He has this new scream of frustration that is pretty loud and I have tried, with a very stern look on my face, to say "no Peter, we do not yell," and all I get in return is a big grin. . .I will have to try a different approach :)
