OK, this pic has nothing to do with soccer. After soccer we went to Sea World and got a ginormous turkey leg to munch on while we watched a show.
Lyza had her first soccer game this past Saturday. She was all psyched up with new cleats, shin guards and shorts. Luckily, the jersey turned out to be kinda hot pink so it matched her shoes ;) Go #4!!
She had a great time and was so fun to watch. She really lucked out with a great coach and has 3 of her friends from church on her team. It was a beautifully overcast day as well which was perfect! And of course, lots of fun playing in the rocks before the game started!
Funniest Elyza Moment:
The coach was asking for possible team names, Lyza suggested Friends, Cats was suggested and a few others, then Lyza raises her hand again and the coach asks if she has another idea. She didn't really, so she pauses and thinks for a minute and then says, "humans!" Hahahah :)
Seriously, I am not sure why, but Peter thinks Lyza is the funniest thing on the planet. All she has to do is look at him and he will crack up. This is from tonight after dinner.

I am the luckiest Great Aunt on the planet because I got to see Lyza AND Max play soccer in one week. And I got to see Max and Ally dance together and Liv and Perri too. And I got to hear all the wonderful giggles from Peter and a few from Mikey (in person). I may be crazy but I'm lucky too!
I'm reading this at school during parent/teacher conferences. What!? There's a lull, okay? But I can't get your video clips to play so I'm anxious to get home and play them. In the meantime, lovin' that turkey leg!
