My favorite thing to do in December is turn out all the lights but the tree lights, turn on some soft Christmas music, and just space out in front of the tree. This year has been way fun making our christmas chain and snowflakes and other various christmasy crafts. So fun now that Lyza understands what is going on, all about Santa coming (she reminds us every day), and about baby Jesus being born. And I love that I get to use the nice/naughty list to get her to go to bed at night, though it doesn't always work :)

i love the tree and snowflakes! I get less and less of my decor out every year. darn it! i swore i was never going to get lazy and be a scrooge about decorating. i'm blaming it on needing a bigger house.....so we'll see if that ever happens!!
