San Antonio has the second largest zoo in the nation. We went last Monday with some friends and had a blast. Lots of animals, tons of birds, and a cute little water area for kids to play in. The weird part was that there weren't any arctic animals. No penguins, no polar bears . . . but lots of other fun. Lyza really liked the lion who actually roared while we were standing there. She covered here ears but was totally giggling the whole time! It was pretty hot so we didn't see everything, but it will be fun to go again when Brian can go and the weather cools down a bit!

Awwwww......so cute! I miss that little monkey (going with the zoo theme). I'm glad you are doing fun things and getting to know the area so you can be our tour guides when we arrive. We miss you!
