Peter's #1 most favorite thing is having a book read to him. He will come to me with a book in his hands and a sweet, imploring look on his face and if I don't quickly go sit and start reading he will start to bash the book into my leg, in front of my face, whatever it takes to get me to read to him. And he likes to be in my lap, not sitting next to, not standing up, in the lap with the book in front. Seriously, if you have a book to read to him, he will be your new best friend. And he likes them over, and over, and over again. Sometimes mommy needs a break and the favorite books get hidden for a while :) (Such a mean mommy!!) Elyza joins in occasionally, but lately she just wants me to make up stories to tell. I made up one one night about a boy who only ate pizza and kinda turned in to a pizza, and now every night she wants a story about a boy/girl who turns into some kind of food. Hopefully this phase will end soon as mommmy is tired of food stories :)
