Yay for cozy jammies!
I had a little moment of bliss this morning. It is sunny and windy outside, but chilly enough that you need a jacket(which I love). I was sitting on Lyza's bed cutting out some book stuff and I realized that both of my children were happily playing, Peter on the floor with Lyza's toys, and Lyza safely concealed behind the toybox so she could build with her blocks without Peterzilla tearing them down.
Elyza in front of her wall of preschool crafts. Fun!
Fall is my favorite season. I miss the downstairs in my parents house where I could curl up with a quilt, some hot cocoa, and a good book and read next to the fire while the wind tried to blow the windows in. I miss Troutdale during this season, but I LOVE San Antonio right now. It is so nice out I just want to be outside all day long. I am excited to get to wear shoes again and sweatshirts and to have to bundle up before heading outside (though our bundling up here only lasts for a few weeks, but still). Anywho, I hope you are all enjoying Fall as much as I am :)

I love fall, too. The sky's a deeper blue, and it seems clearer than at any other time of the year. Even the outline of the mountains against the sky seems crisper, more chiseled or something. And the colors are sooo intense!
And YES to the momentary peace of being in the same room with your children when they're all happily, if only momentarily, content. Love it!
oh, i feel you. and as soon as our 90 degree heat breaks, i will be celebrating with you (in spirit).
I'm with you on that, sista. Fall is the best and any excuse to curl up with a book, I'm right on that!
I love the Peterzilla nickname! My friend calls her little girl the Anti-Sleep. Love those nicknames.
I love fall too, and we have had such a lovely one this year. Nicea describes it perfectly. However, I do believe I would love it even more if it wasn't followed by winter. Fall, Spring, Summer. That, and some cozy pjs are all one really needs. I love your posts!
